The overall size of a PIT element is only about 21% of that of a conventional tensioning or damping element, including the necessary greaser.

This advantage is achieved through using the advantages of our compressible fluid.

A conventional track tensioner including the adjustment greaser, compared to a PIT track tensioner including (integrated) adjustment greaser. Both elements have the same technical characteristics : FA=18,000kg , FB=34,000kg , stroke=60mm.

PIT designs and manufactures elements with highest forces for strongly confined spaces.

Without changing the overall dimensions, PIT can vary the forces, partly even when the element is in operation.
